High-tech laser equipment and external optics need cooling to maintain optimum operational temperatures. Smaller capacity laser equipment generally use air-cooling systems to cool water circulated through the heat exchanger. Larger laser equipment, use a cooler to maintain water temperature and requires a pump for water circulation. De-ionized water is a commonly used coolant to remove waste heat from sensitive electronic components and is not appropriate for use with copper.
Kaori provides nickel brazed versions of our K-Series heat exchangers which are more suitable for use with de-ionized water and our H-Series BPHEs for extreme high temperature situations.
