According to the top ten causes of death in our country last year (2022), heart disease ranked second. This has raised awareness among the public about the significant threat that heart disease poses to people's lives. In fact, the brain can only tolerate lack of oxygen for 4 to 6 minutes, and beyond this time range, it can cause irreversible damage to the brain.

Kaori has always attached great importance to the physical and mental health of its employees, as well as their emergency medical skills. We have been promoting CPR+AED emergency training courses for all employees, with the training starting from the headquarters and four factory campuses in Zhongli. The training includes theoretical knowledge classes on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the operation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), as well as practical sessions on CPR+AED. In total, 385 full-time employees have been trained, with a pass rate of over 98% in both written and practical exams to obtain the Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. In addition, over 70% of the employees in the four factory campuses in Zhongli have completed the CPR+AED training and received certification as "AED Safe Places" by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Taoyuan City Health Bureau.
