Last Saturday (June 3rd), KAORI once again participated in the Re-Think Ocean Cleanup Public Welfare Activity for the second consecutive year. Colleagues, family members, and friends who participated this year were very enthusiastic. Compared with the first ocean cleaning, the number of people has nearly doubled. We feel even more that colleagues' awareness of protecting the environment and their attitude toward taking action will influence more people to join in the ocean clean-up activities. This year's ocean cleaning activity was located in Taoyuan City. Coincidentally, the typhoon had just left the country, resulting in a large amount of marine debris piled up on the shore. The ocean cleaning lasted about 120 minutes, and the main items were artificial sea drifts, such as plastic waste, floats, fishing gear, plastic bottles, and Styrofoam. Thanks to KAORI partners for cleaning up and sorting under the scorching sun, protecting the beautiful coastline together, so that marine life will no longer be persecuted by waste, implementing and practicing the concept of environmental sustainability, and growing from every day , to contribute to the earth.
